Neliza Lieber



Neliza was born and raised outside of Johannesburg, South Africa.   As a child, she was trained in classical piano and grew to love the arts.    After completing nursing school in South Africa, she emigrated to the United States in 2001.  Like many who have come to Colorado, she fell in love with the mountains and stayed here for good.   For 16 years she worked as a neonatal intensive care nurse at Children's Hospital of Colorado.    In 2020, she decided to retire to pursue her passion for painting. During the pandemic, she was able to find a home for her studio.   She is grateful for the support and guidance she has received at the Main Street Creatives in Brighton, Colorado.   Neliza specializes in portraits in oil of individuals and even their fur babies.  She can be reached at   NelizaLieber@gmail.com.
